Pre-Team A is for young climbers that can climb a 5.8 grade or higher, but aren't yet ready for the commitment. Pre-Team enrollment is per session (fall, winter, and spring) while Team enrollment is for the whole school year. Pre-Team also meets once per week rather than twice per week as Team does. While the rock climbing training is the same, Pre-Team kids won't compete in events. Climbers in Pre-Team can transfer to Team when they are ready.
